A Kentucky Fried Chicken (KFC) restauran

Looks like the Internet pulled the wool over the eyes of the world yet again last week, as new information reportedly shows that the story of 3-year-old Victoria Wilcher getting kicked out of a KFC for her facial scars was a huge hoax. Victoria’s scars—the result of an attack by her grandfather’s pitbulls—supposedly unnerved customers to the point that KFC employees asked her and her grandmother to leave.

But after KFC pledged to cover Victoria’s medical bills, they grew suspicious of the timeline presented by Victoria’s grandparents and hired a private investigator. That investigator’s findings have yet to be officially released, but a source close to the issue says the story doesn’t hold up. KFC security footage doesn’t put Victoria and her grandmother at that or any KFC restaurant on the day of the incident, nor does their alleged order appear on any receipts.
