Ice storm in Oakland County Michigan_1388011574067_1707165_ver1.0_640_480

LAPEER COUNTY, Mich. (Top Flight Magazine) – According to DTE 2, 7000 customers are still without power. Most of Northern Oakland County is still affected by the aftermath of last week’s ice storm.

One resident said that it is essential for people in rural areas to be ready to fight the whiles of mother-nature.

Most of the outages are reported in Lapeer County. Utilities expect for services to be restored this weekend. Crews have already restored power to 98 percent of the 150, 000 affected.
