I had the awesome privilege to meet Pastor Frank Julian and Pastor John  Esper  - Better known as Pastor Frank and Pastor John – from Faith Christian Assembly in Melvindale over the weekend. They told me about a very special event they are having on Saturday, December 1st - World AIDS Day.

It’s called the  ‘Motown Holiday Benefit Extravaganza’ featuring The Motown Experience, a world-class vocal group assembled from former members of the Contours, the Miracles and the Temptations, plus as special guest The Shades of Blue.

Proceeds from the concert will be used to send liquid nutrition like Ensure and Boost to AIDS victims in Africa by FAWN. FAWN (Fighting AIDS With Nutrition) is a nonprofit organization that combats AIDS by providing supplements to patients suffering from the virus.  Liquid  nutritional supplements can reduce the effects of the AIDS virus, and can improve quality of life  by strengthening the patients immune system. FAWN has sent nearly 140,000 cans to Botswana and South Africa since 2001.

Tickets for the show are $20 in advance and $25 at the door. For more information, click here~~> FAWN  or call 313-977-0259.
