I don’t watch a whole lot of TV but I do have my favorites. They’re usually news type programs which drives my nearly 19-year old son nuts. So, admittedly I had no intentions on watching a show called Virgin Diaries on TLC, because I felt like the writers and producers were making fun of people who have chosen abstinence before marriage or in the case of some of them… abstinence before they can find someone who will deflower them. The latter is the major focus of the show’s attention.
But tonight’s show is about Dan and Patrice, a Christian Couple from right here in Metro Detroit. I had the opportunity to meet the couple over the weekend and thought they were sweet. So, I took a bit of time to talk with them about their choice to be on the show:
